Google Search Console has announced that a new search ranking algorithm update is currently rolling out. Named the “October 2022 Spam Update”, its purpose is to target the more spammy side of search results.

The full update should take several days to roll out.
For these types of spam updates, Google usually details the areas they’re targeting. However, this one seems to be more of a general spam update. Google only mentioned that this spam update is global and affects all languages.
