Burak Dalkilic, ladder-climber and Berlin-lover

A first for our employee feature series, we’re highlighting one of our Boostability Berlin employees, Burak Dalkilic. A native to the city (and a staunch believer in its world-wide superiority) Burak started with Boostability in 2015 and has consistently taken on new jobs and responsibilities in the four years since he was hired. In the summer of 2019, our content manager Kristine Pratt spent a few days in Germany visiting our European headquarters—and Burak. She sat down with him and the rest of the Berlin team to find out what makes working for Boost abroad so exciting. We picked up the torch and asked him a few more questions about himself.

How do you explain what you do to friends and family, especially when they’re not familiar with tech or SEO?

I manage and supervise Client Services and Sales Support for our SEO product from our beautiful office in Berlin. We help small and medium-sized businesses to succeed online in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

 

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love everything about my work. Literally everything. But my absolute favorite? Every day, every week and every month is different and has new and different challenges. I always need to be creative and innovative to solve upcoming issues in the best possible way and still provide the best possible customer experience.

 

What do you like about Boost’s company culture?

I love to work at Boost and enjoy working with my coworkers. The coworkers really make the culture. It is always fun if we do fun activities in the office or if we meet after work somewhere downtown.

 

Describe an on-the-job experience where you grew your skills or learned something new.

Managing multiple teams in different languages for different countries and regions.

 

What do you like to do when you aren’t at work?

Spent time with my familiy & friends, working out enjoy life, traveling.

 

If you could make a guest appearance on a TV show, what show would you choose?

One Piece.

Anything else you want to share about yourself? 

Started with Boost as a Fulfillment Specialist, then worked as an Account Manager, then a Team Lead in Client Services, and now Supervisor for client services and overlook recently the European sales support team additionally to the client services teams. I accept any challenge and I am excited and curious where my path will lead me on Boostability in future!
