We’ve got a good feeling about this.
Hey there! We’re excited you’re considering submitting a guest post for the Boostability blog. Here are a couple things you need to know before you do.
This is a B2B blog, with a heavy emphasis on SEO marketing.
We’re global thought leaders in this arena, and we want to feature writers who are, too. Your posts should focus on an audience made up of other movers and shakers in the digital marketing world, showcasing new research and new ideas that can transform basic practices into something really special.
We expect quality writing.
This should be a no-brainer, but your content should be a well-composed, SEO-conscious piece. We know you want people to read what you write, and so do we, so make your article accessible and easy to understand in order to make that happen. We suggest familiarizing yourself with some of our more recent posts on the BoostBlog to get a good feel for what we’re looking for.
We get lots of submissions every week, so in order to give yourself the best shot at publication, take some time to review our Writing Guidelines. They give great in-depth advice about what we’re looking for on a micro scale. Submissions that don’t fit these guidelines in tone or style won’t be considered, so do your homework and give us something good.
Send us the right stuff.
All first-time submissions should be sent to [email protected]. We expect full-length articles, not pitches, so take some time to complete a project before sending us your work. Use the subject line “BoostBlog Try Outs” followed by your headline. For example, “BoostBlog Try Outs 7 Key Strategies for Implementing SEO in 2019”. You’ll receive an email within a week letting you know if your submission has been accepted or rejected, with additional instructions on what to do if we decide to move forward with your work.
If you’re looking to write something specifically for small business owners, this is not the place, but we’ve got a partner blog, Manta, that could be a better fit. Send articles that focus on basic but important digital marketing and SEO principles that could benefit SMBs to [email protected]. The same BoostBlog style guidelines still apply.
We’re looking forward to seeing what you’ve got!
