Query

A query, in web search terms, is a question that is entered on a search engine to satisfy the informational needs of a user. There are 4 different types of web queries: informational queries (covering a broad topic), navigational queries (seeking a single website or page), transactional queries (reflecting intent to perform an action), and connectivity queries (reporting on the connectivity of the indexed web graph).
