Why Get Certified?

With growing numbers of individuals choosing to go to college, yet still wanting to further their education and training, it’s important to find qualifications that can help you stand out against the rest of the crowd. Getting certified is an option that can help attract positive attention towards your skills and credentials.

Becoming certified in specific programs helps improve your CV. It helps employers know that you have knowledge or an understanding in a certain area. Adding this qualification also helps build credibility to your resume, CV, and LinkedIn profile.

Becoming certified also shows employers two important things: strong digital skills and motivation. Having these two factors is very marketable to employers and will help give you a leg up on others applying for the same jobs as you.

Certification also helps develop your career in more ways than you originally thought of. It can help you discover the right jobs tailored for you, build skill sets that could help you get promoted, or help you discover possible career opportunities you never knew about. There’s nothing to lose when it comes to getting certified in an area that could benefit your career.
